Come on out and see what’s new this year, along with the old favorites.
Same great stew and fry bread. As always, you can meet with the guides in our living history cabins and learn what it was like to live in the frontier a century ago.
Watch demonstrations and try your hand at “calf” roping and flint knapping. Tempt yourselves with the authentic craft works available from our exhibitors. See what’s on offer at the bake sale.
Adding to the fun this year are two games based on our legendary tie hack’s activities:
Mini-flume race: Claim your tiny railroad ties and try to be most strategic at floating it down the flume in the racing water!
Log stacking competition: Be the best and fastest at collecting ties that come racing down the chute and arranging them for transfer to the westbound train. Warning: You can’t use your hands!
Winners of both games will come away with prizes worth competing for.
All events free of admission, with proceeds (from your generous donations) going to the Dubois Museum.
